Hague Staff and Potential Customers –
I have had the Watermax water filtration and RO system for about 6 weeks now and I am very happy
with it. My kitchen came with a water filter which allowed for TDS’s of over 550! Not to mention that if I ran out of bottled water and made tea with it I had to strain the swirls of visible flotsam with a coffee filter before it was fit to drink. Also – my 2 cats preferred to drink the foamy green stuff from the stagnant fountain in the backyard than the nice cool bowls of kitchen water I would leave for them and then watch slowly disappear – through evaporation! I thought they were little freaks – until I had my water tested.
I am a bath taker and usually spend over 30 minutes in the water. Often there was a noticeable
chlorine smell. When I started reading about the rapid and efficient absorption of chlorine and other contaminants through the skin and the suspected link between cancer and the chlorination of public water supplies I really felt it was a silly health risk for me. And it’s even worse for babies and small children. The decision to get the best filtration system I could was easy after that research. My sales rep, Diana, was very helpful with finding key words and web sites for me and indulging my need to know more.
I had always though I had problem SKIN; it was dry, itchy, red and irritated, and I constantly battled cracking heels t now I think I just had problem WATER. Within just a few weeks of using the Watermax, all of those conditions are 95% better.
On a household level the laundry really is softer and the lint is much less – maybe a tablespoon
compared to a cup per load before. My dishwasher was never used because I thought it was broken – the dishes looked worse after I ran it than when they went in. And even though I washed by hand the clear glass dishes just looked so bad it was embarrassing to use them. In the weeks since I got the Watermax they have become clear again. When I use my dishwasher the dishes come out looking so clean, so shiny – not cloudy and spotted like before. I didn’t expect anything magical like this to happen so I am happily surprised by it.
On a planetary level it feels smarter to treat our water on site and not contribute to the waste and environmental costs of transporting all those thousands of gallons of water around the country.
It’s true that these systems are a big financial investment but it has been well worth it to me. I think Hague is a very good company to work with. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and I was impressed with each one of the people in the process.
